Introduction

If you have been following me over the past 3 months you will have seen during September and October, I set myself a challenge of writing 30 articles in 30 days.

I did not complete my challenge instead I managed to write 28 articles in 28 days which was easily my most prolific writing period. Although the challenge went well the main goal was to create a long term writing habit.

I would say this was also a failure as after the challenge was over, I wrote 0 articles between November 5th and 1st of January 2025.

Lets take a look at the stats and payouts from the articles I wrote to see if there was in fact a silver lining to completing this challenge.

The following stats are from September and October 2024. These payouts are from the Medium partner program exclusively and also represent all my articles written up until that point.

In September I wrote over 20 articles on a range of subjects from the Stock Market, Web Scraping, Sports betting and productivity.
